Westmont High School Guidance Department
The Westmont High School Guidance & Counseling Program has met the criteria to become a Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) by the American School Counselor Association! The RAMP designation is awarded to schools that align with the criteria set by the ASCA national model. A RAMP designated school counseling program must demonstrate a comprehensive, data-driven program that meets the needs of all students, and the designation is held for five years. Nearly 600 schools have been designated as RAMP recipients since the program's inception. As of 2015, Westmont High School is now one of 39 schools in Illinois that have received the RAMP designation. For more information on ASCA and RAMP, please visit www.ascanationalmodel.org.Mission StatementThe Westmont High School Guidance Department will deliver a counseling program that is comprehensive, developmental, and accessible to all students, and which equips them for the future by attending to their academic, personal, social, and career development.
