This week in Scho Bo News:

Tuesday the Sentinels traveled to Wilmington where they went buck wild on those Wildcats, the JV squad won 380 to 70 and 350 to 130 improving their record to 13 and 3! Tossup leaders included Pranav with 6, Kiera with 7 and Stephen with 15.

Varsity also had a solid night, winning the overall match between the two teams. Despite falling in the first match 210-280, the Sentinels DOMINATED the second match 330-140. Seniors Connor Duquette and Mollie Johnson had strong matches, as did juniors Trishia Cueto and Stephanie Walker.

Last night, we hosted the Peotone blue devils.  The JV squad handed Peotone their FIRST defeat of the season, winning 290 to 220 but fell in the second match for the first time since December! Lily Doubled her average tossup score, while other tossup leaders included Matt with 4, Kiera with 5 and Pranav with 6!

Varsity punished Peotone in the first match 290-160, as juniors Trishia Cueto and Stephanie Walker had great matches. The boys' varsity basketball team had a busy weekend playing 3 games in a span of 24 hours.  They started the 3 game stretch with a convincing win over Reed-Custer, they then lost 64-63 to a very good Latin team Saturday morning, and they lost another hard-fought battle Saturday night 41-38 to Sandwich. The team continues there busy schedule with a home game tonight against Peotone.

Congratulations to the Track and Field Pole Vault squad that represented the Sentinels at the Naperville Central RedHawk Invitational on Saturday. Gavin Carr tied for 10th place in a field of 70 vaulters that are among the best in the state for 3A schools. Way to go Gavin!
