GENERAL

The month of May is designated as “Better Speech and Hearing Month”. Speech-language pathologists are an important part of all schools as they help maximize the success of students who need additional support. Any students interested pursuing a career in speech therapy can reach out to Mrs. Greenwood or their counselor for more information.

Spring Blood Drive

Westmont High School is currently holding a community blood drive, and we invite our Westmont famlies to donate at our Spring Blood Drive through May 30, 2021

CLUBS

The People’s Resource Center Jr. Board is doing a cleaning drive through TODAY -Friday, May 21st. They are collecting items such as sanitation wipes, dish soap, sponges, detergent, mops, buckets, paper towels, etc for the PRC. These can be dropped off at the media center anytime or you can give your donation to a PRC junior board member."

 

ATHLETICS

Cheerleading tryout will be held on June 1st from 3 -  5p.m and on June 3 from 6 - 8 p.m.  Contact Coach Meneses with any questions.

The Boys and Girls Track and Field teams have been running away with their competitions remaining  undefeated since the start of May.  They run tonight at the prestigious Chicago Christian Invitational. Good luck Sentinels.

Westmont 1 Riverside-Brookfield 12. Westmont 5-25. James Postawa added a Double and a Walk. Jason Czaplewski added a Double. Jack Gedraitis added a Single and a Sac Fly RBI in the loss.
