WESTMONT HIGH SCHOOL

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR

Tuesday, March 22, 2022

General

Prom is on Saturday, May 7th this year from 6:30 pm until 11:00 pm at the Carlisle in Lombard. So, now is the time to ask your date to prom!   Why not as with a promposal?  See Mrs. Zorbas to arrange your perfect promposal with beautiful red roses!

This announcement is for anyone planning to attend prom:  While shopping for your formal prom attire, please be both mindful of appropriate and tasteful styles.  LADIES:  Spaghetti straps, strapless and backless dresses are allowed as long as the dress is not too revealing and in good taste.  Please note that no bare-midriff, mini or sheer dresses are allowed.  GENTLEMEN:  A tuxedo or appropriate suit and tie is acceptable.   Please note that no jeans, casual pants or shirts are allowed.  Prom is a formal and elegant event and any student dressed inappropriately will not be allowed to attend prom nor receive a refund.

Speaking of PROM!  Tickets will go on sale when we return from Spring Break.  Tickets are $85 per person.  You can purchase your tickets with a check made payable to Westmont High School or with cash.

Lastly, if your PROM date does not attend Westmont High School, out-of-district guest forms are mandatory and will be available after spring break.  You can pick up your form while purchasing your ticket, with Mrs. Zorbas or Señorita Lott or in Mr. Baldermann´s off with Mrs. Grahn.  Out of District guests 20 years of age or younger may attend if they are accompanied by a current Westmont upperclassman.

Attention all Junior & Seniors boys:  Would you like a chance to earn your tux for prom for a reduced price... or even free. Three male models are needed to wear a tuxedo to school for a day.  Interested?  Please see Señorita Lott in room 125.

Sentinels, do you find yourself in need of community service hours for upcoming scholarship applications?  Or, do you simply wish to serve your community?   Rotary Interact will meet tomorrow morning before school in room 125.  If you are unable to attend, please be certain to check in with Señorita to get caught up on our current and upcoming events.

Athletics

JV Baseball falls to Riverside Brookfield 4-3. Not without a fighting comeback in the final inning. Briggs Templeton added a single and Noah Grimm and Lucas Fears smashed a double. Both Briggs and Noah pitched and had 5 strikeouts each.

Thank you and have a great day!
