General-
Parking permits are in. Please see Mrs. Grahn for your parking spot and to fill out form.
There will be a Student Council Meeting Thursday, August 25th in the Media Center from 3:00 4:00 We will Discuss Homecoming and Executive Board Elections. Look for more information in the Student Council Google Classroom. If you have not signed up for Student Council and you are interested see Mrs. Jacobs or Mrs. Van Erden for more information.
We are getting ready to announce the title of the fall play and are looking for actors and stage crew! Auditions for actors will take place on Wednesday, September 7 after school. Interested actors and stage crew should join the Google classroom. The join code is: eigx35d

Clubs –
Yearbook Club will hold its first meeting on Thursday, September 15 right after school in the art room. See Mrs. Mahmoud or Ms. Jacobs with questions.
Rotary Interact is holding our first meeting this Thursday and you are invited! We are looking for volunteers to work at local events and hold fundraisers or drives to help organizations that help those in need. This is a great opportunity for you to build your high school resume, gather credentials for a future job, scholarship or college application! Rotary's first meeting is in Señorita Lott´s room -that's room 125- this Thursday morning before school at 7:30 -or as soon as you get here!
Like to make art? Like to watch Artsy Movies? Art Club is for YOU! Art Club is open to everyone and meets every Monday after school in the art room. Art Club is an open studio for exploring your art-making ideas! Sometimes we focus on different art-making activities, watch art-themed movies with snacks, or just come hang out in the studio and do your own thing!! The First Art Club Meeting is Monday August 29th.
Athletics –
The JV Volleyball team started the 2023 season off with a 25-11, 25-9 victory over the Lady of Tepeyac. Reagan Kelly, and Defne Barkan went on big service runs to open up the game. Congratulations girls!!
Congratulations to the varsity volleyball on their win over Lady of Tepeyac last night. The team had 17 aces and 16 kills! 2022 off to a nice start!
Boys soccer played a great game in a loss to Reed Custer. With 6 players making their first start, we have a young team with high expectations. Hamzah Bedeir scored his first varsity goal off a free kick. Our next home game is tomorrow, August 25 @4:30 so come and support!--
Hey Sentinels: How would you like the opportunity to be a Ball Boy for the upcoming Chicago Bulls season? We are looking for someone reliable who can get to the United Center on their own.
