General –
Underclass picture retake pictures will be tomorrow outside the auditorium from 10:45 – 1:15 pm.
COD is hosting a Business Professions Spotlight for students and families on Thursday, October 20, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Jack H. Turner Conference Center in the Student Resource Center, Room 2000. Explore education and careers in Accounting, Business, Management, Marketing, Office Technology and Paralegal Studies. You may pre-register using the QR code in the commons and by Mrs. Dervin's classroom, or you may also walk-in. Raffle prizes are available to those who pre-register. See Mrs. Dervin if you have any questions.
We have a few extra 2021-2022 yearbooks available to purchase. Books are $50 and can be purchased from Mrs. Mahmoud or in the front office.
TCD Exploratory field trip is coming soon, December 2nd. Please see Mrs. Ramirez or the counselors if you are interested in attending. Field trip forms will be due on 11/11.
Clubs –

Athletics –
Only 85 days until Track and Field begins. Will you be ready?
Tim Rosland's 4th place finish led his team in the Lisle Regional to advance to Sectionals. This marks the 30th year in a row that the Boys Cross Country team has advanced to Sectionals. Congratulations to Tim for being a Regional medialist all 4 years as a Sentinel Harrier. The team runs at Harvest Christian on Saturday at 10:45.
Attention all girls: If you’re thinking about playing girls basketball, come to an interest meeting on Wednesday October 26th at 3:00 pm. The meeting will take place in the Drivers Ed room. No prior organized experience is required. The current goal of our program is to compete now while also building for the future. This is an opportunity to stay physically and mentally fit for life and other sports! Our program values are fun, competitiveness and mindfulness. Come learn more about you can grow with us! --
