Clubs –

Last night, the JV Scholastic Bowl team had their first match against St. Francis.The Sentinels dominated in the first match with a score of 225 to 140. In game two, the Sentinels fought hard but lost in the end 160 to 280. The Sentinels were lead in tossups by Justas who had 8 on the evening but all teammates (Riyah, Zoe, and Cooper) each contributed at least a tossup and all helped on the bonus. Great strong start!!!

On the Varsity front, Senior Michael Smith led the team with 12 tossups on the night, but it was Ben Steger who powered a question late in the close first match to push the Sentinels to victory, 320-315. In match #2, the Sentinels had a rough first half and came close, but couldn't finish off St. Francis, falling 345-280, and are now 5-1 on the season.

Hey Sentinels, this weekend is the fall play!   Why not make it dinner at Chipotle first and then enjoy the play!    Look for the junior class fundraising posters that give all of the details.  The Chipotle Fundraiser is Saturday, November 5th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  You must present a copy of the flyer -either on paper or on your phone.

Athletics –

All winter athletes - including winter cheer, basketball and wrestling. Before you can begin practice (which includes any Open Gyms), you must have an Okay to Play card from Kappy.  In order to get your Okay to Play card you need a current physical on file as well as the completed 8 to 18 for your winter sport.  See Kappy or Coach Dunne with any questions.

Attention Student-Athletes!

Our strength and conditioning program will start Monday, November 7th.  We will have our first session after school in which we will discuss program expectations and introduction to our programming.

If you have any questions, please see Mr. Farthing.
