General –

 It is PROMPOSAL season!  If you are trying to come up with the perfect way to ask your special someone to prom? Stop in and talk with Mrs. Zorbas -the prom committee has a Rose Promposal to fit your budget!   

Donate new/gently used shoes that have no tears, no holes, no floppy soles and be the lucky winner of an EARLY START TO SPRING BREAK!   Here is how it works:   Bring your new/gently used shoes that you are donating to room 125.   For every accepted pair of shoes you will receive a raffle ticket. The more raffle tickets you earn, the better your chances of winning 7th hour off on the last day of school before spring break!   Questions, please see Señorita in room 125, 

SENIORS!

Please head to the Class of 2023 Google Classroom to vote for the March Senior of the Month. Winner will be announced next week!

Clubs –

The next Geography Club field trip will be on Saturday, March 4, as we make a trip to join the Holi Festival of Colors celebration that will take place in Chicago at Navy Pier. Holi is a spring festival in India and Nepal that signifies the victory of good over evil as well as the arrival of spring. This field trip is open to all Geography Club members--permission slips are available in Mr. Landreth's room. All permission slips must be turned in by next Wednesday, March 1st.

The AACC wants to thank Ms. Dunbar for her guidance and beautiful performance during yesterday's Black History Month Assembly. We could not have done it without her! Thank you, Ms. Dunbar!!

Also, thanks to Ms. Schillinger, Mr. Bautista, Mrs. Smith, and Charlie McCormick, each one of whom was so important to our assembly.

Athletics –

Athletes interested in joining a spring sport MUST have their 8 to 18 completed and have a current [physical on file.  Don't wait until the last minute to do this.

The boys basketball program will be hosting the CUSD 201 Faculty Basketball Game on Thursday March 2nd at 7 PM.  Come out and watch some of your favorite teachers attempt to play a semi-competitive game of basketball.  There is no cost to attend the game however donations to United 24 are encouraged and will be accepted at the door.

For the remainder of the school year, strength and conditioning will be offered before school Tuesday and Thursday and after school Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  If you are interested in attending a season, see Coach Farthing in Room 104.
