General –

Lost and Found will remain on display in the commons until Thursday morning. 

It is prom-posal season!   If you are looking for a way to ask your special someone to prom, please stop in to talk with Mrs. Zorbas as the prom committee has the perfect promposal to fit your budget!    

This week during lunch, for just $5 you can own your very own part of history -or non-history as the case may be!   Whether you have A or C lunch, come purchase your WHS PROM 2020 t-shirt as the perfect addition to your school spirit wardrobe.  OWN IT for just $5!    

Sentinels,  if you want to start your spring break early, follow these three steps>   First, bring your new/gently used shoes to donate to room 125, Señorita. Second, collect your raffle tickets.   Third, listen for the announcement at the end of 7th hour on Monday, March 20th to see who wins the raffle!  Questions, please see Señorita in room 125.

The AP Psych class is putting on a mini psych fair today in the commons during 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th period.  Please come and join us, we need excited and willing participates!!!

Clubs –

Attention all Teen Leaders,   Are you looking for an amazing leadership or mentorship opportunity with minimal commitment?  If so, you are invited to join our STEM Club members as a teen mentor at the upcoming STEM night scheduled for March 20th.  As a teen mentor, you will work with other WHS students to present short, STEM related activities designed for our K-8 students. For more information, contact Mrs. Torrise or drop by after school this Friday for a treat and more information!

Next school year, the Geography Club will be traveling to COSTA RICA during Spring Break 2024! Any Sentinel student who is interested in joining this trip should plan on attending an informational meeting with their parent or guardian on Tuesday, March 21st at 7:00 pm in Mr. Landreth's room. CAPAOW! (pronounced: ka-POW) - Tomorrow CAPAOW! is hosting a field trip for anyone who wants to go to Mitsuwa, a Japanese American Marketplace and Food Court in Arlington Heights. Haven't turned in your permission slip yet? There's still time! Permission slips can be picked up in the Media Center. There is a $5 cost for the bus. Bring your permission slip and $5 and turn them in before boarding the bus. Bus leaves tomorrow at 1:00 PM and returns at 5:00 PM. See Ms. Schillinger or Mr. Bautista with any questions.
