Amelia Strobl

Industrial Arts/Teaching Assistant

I am so excited to be in this position. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Benedictine University in 2003, in Elementary Education. I have many different endorsements to teach at the middle school level. At the time I had 3 small children and decided not to become a teacher but to become a teaching assistant. This is my 20th year in the district. A new opportunity has arised, and is a compassion of mine, so I jumped at it. I had to get my CTE licensure to be able to teach it. So here I am as the new Industrial Arts teacher.

I hope I can teach your child to become compassionate about this class, but always with safety in mind. I love building and learning how to do new things in the industry, hanging out with my family and friends, boating, and relaxing.
