After School Clubs and Activities
Description
Our chickens need some TLC. The Agriculture Club will learn what it takes to care for our Manning family members. As we regrow the Agiculture Club from it's original creation with Mrs. Entile, the Club will create it's own goals for the school year. Students will sign up for days to help care for our chickens and work on projects that we have designed for the school year.

Students will have an opportunity to learn how to read music, perform at exciting venues, and choose an instrument to play; which will continue to present new opportunities to them throughout the next 8 years of their education and beyond! Numerous educational studies have shown that participation in a school music ensemble is closely linked to higher grades, higher test scores, and higher attendance records through middle and high school. Additionally, playing an instrument in an ensemble with your peers is one of the most rewarding experiences.
Dates/Times:

- 5th grade band will take place from 8:10 - 9:10 AM depending on your child's instrument of choice.

Drama Club is open to all fourth grade students. Years ago, at the request of students, this club was started as an opportunity for students to explore the world of performance and theater. Students learn about voice, movement, and spatial relations throughout the process of performing a play. Students learn to collaborate to create a special gift of performance for family and friends. The final production is presented to the student body during a school day, followed by a community performance in the evening. Bravo!

The 5th grade safety patrol has many jobs before, during, and after school that help keep Manning run safe and sound on a daily basis. Many of the responsibilities are dependent on how your child gets to and from school. We try our best to get as many students a patrol assignment as we can, but please note that every 5th grade student does not get a spot.
