RESIDENCY VERIFICATION INFORMATION

Community Unit School District 201 has contracted with a third-party vendor to automatically verify student address information. The vendor uses a parent’s name and address to cross-check data against electronic databases, such as utility company records. The vast majority of families have been verified electronically. If your residency is verified, you will see the link to register when you sign in to Skyward.
If you are unable to register, please contact your child’s school.
Families whose residency could not be verified electronically have been sent a letter outlining the additional information required to register their child for the upcoming school year.
Residency verification helps protect taxpayers and district resources by identifying non-residents attending Community Unit School District 201 schools. Illinois law requires families to prove residency before enrollment and permits periodic checks to ensure compliance.
