Registration

2025-2026 CUSD 201 Registration for all families will open on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Please select the section that best describes your family and students. Complete this process for each of your students. For example, if you have 3 students to register, register each one individually. Some families may have students who fall into different categories.

Each spring, parents and guardians receive an email from CUSD201 with a secure login code for Skyward Registration. Using this code, you can review and update the information stored from the previous enrollment. Please note: It is not necessary to pay fees at the time of registration. Payment can be made at a later date. If you need assistance with your Skyward Login, please contact your child's school. 

RESIDENCY VERIFICATION INFORMATION
Community Unit School District 201 has contracted with a third-party vendor to automatically verify student address information. The vendor uses a parent’s name and address to cross-check data against electronic databases, such as utility company records. The vast majority of families have been verified electronically. If your residency is verified, you will see the link to register when you sign into Skyward.

Families whose residency could not be verified electronically have been sent a letter outlining the additional information required to register their child for the upcoming school year. If you sign in to Skyward and do not see the link to register, your residency must be verified. Residency verification will be done on the following dates: 

July 14, 2025 and July 17, 2025 from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm (No Appointment Required)

Residency verification helps protect taxpayers and district resources by identifying non-residents attending Community Unit School District 201 schools. Illinois law requires families to prove residency before enrollment and permits periodic checks to ensure compliance.
