May 14, 2021

Dear CUSD 201 Families,

The CDC has relaxed some of the mitigations for persons who are fully vaccinated. Schools are currently operating under the Governor’s emergency order. Since many students and some adults are not vaccinated, CUSD 201 will still require masks in our schools.

DuPage County school districts are working together to provide the COVID-19 vaccines to students age 12 and older. For additional information, please use this link (Student Vaccine Event).

The DCHD published the DCHD School Metrics Week 17 on Monday. As of May 13, our local community’s seven-day positivity rate shows Westmont at 3.05%, Hinsdale at 1.73%, Downers Grove at 1.61%, and Clarendon Hills 5.43%. The average positivity rate for our area is 2.96%

Please read the entire communication for additional updates.
