Dear CUSD 201 Families,
I hope you and your family have been able to relax and enjoy the summer. It is difficult to believe that a new school year will be starting in a few short weeks.
Registration for the 2021-2022 school year will be completed electronically using Skyward. The registration portal will open on July 30 at noon and close at 4:00 pm. on August 6. CUSD 201 will have one day of in-person registration for anyone who cannot complete the process online. In-person registration will be on August 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Westmont Junior High School.
CUSD 201 is planning to have full in-person learning next school year. Remote learning, as experienced last year, will not be an option.
The DCHD and CDC have provided guidance to school districts on safely returning to in-person learning this fall. CUSD 201, like many school districts, is reviewing the guidance and finalizing plans for the 2021-2022 school year.
The specific details for our return to school, such as mask requirements, contact tracing, and quarantine protocols, are currently being discussed. Once the District has finalized these details, we will share information with our school families.
