February 4, 2022

Dear CUSD 201 Families,

Due to the significant snow accumulation, February 2 was an emergency day. The District will need to make the day up at the end of the school year. If the school district does not use any additional emergency days, the last day of school will be May 31, 2022.

CUSD 201 is asking parents to complete the Illinois 5Essentials Survey. The survey results provide valuable information to our school and are included in the school report card. We also use the data to guide some of our decision-making. The survey closes on March 11, 2022. Illinois 5Essentials Survey

The positivity rate in DuPage County continues to decrease. As of February 4, the seven-day positivity rate for Westmont is 7.87%, Hinsdale is 9.48%, Downers Grove is 8.60%, and Clarendon Hills is 9.48%.  The average positivity rate for our community is 8.96%.  The county is still exceeding 452 new cases per 100,000 and has a positivity rate of  8.80%.

If your child is fully vaccinated, please upload an image of the vaccination card in Skyward. Once you log into Skyward, there is a link you will use to upload the card.  The information will be kept confidential. Having a record of the vaccination card will aid school offices in determining if a close contact needs to be excluded from school.  Students who are fully vaccinated do not need to be excluded from school.

Please read the entire communication for additional information.

Weekly COVID-19 Testing:
CUSD 201 is offering optional weekly COVID-19 testing through Northshore Labs. There is no cost for the test. If you want your child to participate, use this link CUSD 201 COVID Testing. Testing takes place every Monday.

National School Lunch Program:
