We are thrilled to announce that Manning/Miller PTO is generously supporting Salt Creek Ballet's (SCB) Literacy through Dance program this year, extending its reach to Kindergarten! SCB is honored and excited to be an integral part of the school day, thanks to this incredible community partnership.
Current Program Highlights:
The Miller first-grade program is in full swing, meeting on Mondays and Fridays for 5 engaging sessions during November and December from 12:30-1:30.
Exploring SEL Concepts:
The curriculum dives into Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) concepts, focusing on personal space, resilience, kindness, and mindfulness. It's a journey of creativity and life skills development!
Future Plans:
South School is eager to host the LTD program in January and February 2024. Details are being worked out, and we'll share the schedule soon. Plus, exciting plans are underway for visits with 2nd graders at Manning and K students at Miller!
