This past weekend, our Parent Liaison, Hedit Leon, took a couple of families to the Bilingual Parent Summit, hosted by the Illinois Resource Center. What an inspiring experience it was!
The Bilingual Parent Summit brings families together to learn, connect, and grow. Its purpose is to empower parents of multilingual learners with tools, resources, and community support. From workshops and speakers to shared experiences, it's a space where language and culture are celebrated, and families feel stronger and more supported.
Thank you, Hedit, for taking the time out of your weekend to walk alongside our families on this journey.
We’re already looking forward to bringing even more families next year!
Want to learn more or be part of it next time? Send us a message or email Mrs. Edith Courington, ecourington@cusd201.org—we’d love to connect!
