Pumpkin Composting At Westmont Library Nov. 8
The Westmont Public Library, Village of Westmont, Government , Westmont Public Works, and the Environmental Improvement Committee invite the community to a Pumpkin Composting Collection on Saturday, November 8, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Westmont Public Library, 428 N. Cass Avenue.
All pumpkins must be free of candles, decorations, and other inorganic materials. Participants will enter the library parking lot from West Traube Avenue, where volunteers and staff will direct vehicles to the collection area.
This annual event helps keep tons of pumpkins out of landfills by turning them into compost. Join us in supporting a greener Westmont.
