General – Sentinels: This message is for anyone planning to go to PROM '23. Our student selected theme is: A masquerade ball! Prom will be held on Saturday, May 6th at The Carlisle from 6:30 pm until 11:00pm. As you are selecting your formal attire for the dance, please be mindful of appropriate and tasteful styles. Ladies: Spaghetti straps, strapless and backless dresses are allowed as long as the dress is not too revealing and in good taste. Bare/midriff, mini or sheer dresses are not acceptable. Gentlemen: A tuxedo or an appropriate suit and tie is acceptable. No jeans, casual pants nor shirts. Please use your discretion when making selections. Prom is an elegant event and any student dressed inappropriately will not be allowed to attend prom nor receive a refund.
Speaking of PROM: It is PROMPOSAL season! If you are trying to come up with the perfect way to ask your special someone to prom? Stop in and talk with Mrs. Zorbas -the prom committee has a Rose Promposal to fit your budget!
Going to the musical or the Winter Festival of Fun this Friday night? Don't forget to eat dinner before you go! Help out the Junior Class and eat dinner at Panda Express this Friday! Our Panda Express is located at the corner of Ogden and Main Street in Downers Grove, You must bring a copy of the flyer / posted by each of the Panda Express Signs. The flyer can be digital on your phone or a paper flyer. Paper flyers are available in Señorita´s room, 125. If you plan to order online, please be certain to include the code 349321 in the fundraiser code box.

We are still in need of a few students who are willing to help out with stage crew for the musical this week. If you are at all interested, please see Mrs. Mahmoud or Mr. Urlaub.

Clubs –Do you find yourself wanting to serve your community and build your high school resume? Do you need service hours? Are you thinking ahead about how you could win scholarships for college? Well, then Rotary Interact is your answer to all of those questions! Stop in to Rotary´s meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 am in room 125. New members are always welcome.

Athletics – Roadrunner Sports is hosting a Westmont Track and Field Gear up day on Thursday, February 9 at 6:00. Specialists will be on hand to answer all of your shoe questions (whether you are on track or not). They will have good deals that evening for all Westmont athletes.
Westmont High School will be hosting the IHSA Quarterfinals of the Girls Basketball Regional on Saturday, February 11 at 2:30. Admission is $5 for all fans, including students. No passes/Booster Club cards can be accepted.
The boys varsity basketball team lost 61-49 to Lisle last night. Joey Dooley scored a career high 30 points for the Sentinels.
