General –
Junior and Senior Students:
The deadline for the Great America field trip on May 20 has been extended! We have a limited number of tickets still available and they will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't wait to sign up, or you will be disappointed. See Ms. Ramsey or Ms. Vera in the front office with your permission slip and payment.
The deadline to purchase Senior Breakfast tickets has been extended to Friday, May 5. Please see Mrs. Mahmoud to purchase your ticket
It is that time of year!
Senior Breakfast tickets will be for sale from April 3-April 28. Tickets are $30 and can be purchase by cash or check to WHS. Please see Mrs. Mahmoud to purchase.
Attention all students: During the first 2 weeks of May's AP testing - the WebCams and BlueTooth feature will be deactivated on all chromebooks.
Attention Students and Staff: Starting Monday, May 1, our AP season begins. Check your email, the AP Google Classroom or signage for your testing rooms. Due to CollegeBoard requirements, we will be turning off the Bluetooth and WebCams on all chromebooks beginning May 1 through May 12. Questions about AP: See Kappy or Mr. Finlayson.
On Monday, May 1st at 7pm, the first Fine Arts Honors Recital will take place in the auditorium. Come support your friends and bring dry or canned food to be donated to the PRC.
Juniors - The ACT test is another college test which some students do well on. There is an ACT test this summer. If you are interested in seeing what is on the ACT test and prepping for it - go to Mrs. Pergande's room on Monday after school at 2:45. If you have any questions see Mrs. Ritchey
Athletics –
Reminder student-athletes, strength training sessions are Tuesday and Thursday mornings and Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school through the end of the school year.
Westmont Varsity Baseball Score. Westmont 9 Norridge (Ridgewood) 6. Westmont improves to 14-8 overall. Nikolai Baldwin got the win on the mound 4 IP, 2 ER, 3 K. He also added a 2 RBI Double. Briggs Templeton got the Save. 3 IP, 0 ER, 3 K and he added 2 Hits. Jack Gedraitis was 2-3 with 2 RBI and 2 Runs. Jerry Vasek added 2 RBI.
