On Thursday October 26, Juniors will use the Blue Book app on their chromebooks to take their 2nd practice SAT test. Juniors should report to their testing rooms at 8:00am.
Juniors need to bring:
FULLY CHARGED chromebooks
chromebook charger
calculator
computer mouse if needed
pencils
snack
IMPORTANT that all juniors know their College Board login and password. If for some reason your College Board account is not working, please see Karen Knech(night) in the counselor's office before Thursday.
Clubs
Hey Sentinels: How would you like to spend Spring Break in 2025 exploring JAPAN? That's right - Geography Club will be traveling to Japan next school year! Any Sentinel interested in traveling to Japan should plan on attending a short informational meeting on Wednesday, October 25th, right after school in Mr. Landreth's room.
There will be a PRC General Member meeting on Tuesday October 24th after school in Templeton’s room. This is required for all members! The meeting should take no long than 30 minutes.
Good Morning Sentinels!!
Halloween is coming, so it’s time for a Halloween Party!! Next Friday, October 27, La Casa and AACC will sponsor a Halloween Party to raise money for their clubs. There’ll be dancing, Halloween appropriate food -- CANDY!!--and a costume contest! Come as you are or in costume (school appropriate, of course). Let’s show some Sentinel spirit while showing off your spooky spirit!
Tickets are being sold during lunch or see Ms. Van Erden, room 113. But...don’t wait too long: we need to sell 80 tickets by Tuesday in order for our dance to move ahead.Happy Halloween!!!
Athletics - Congratulations to the Cross Country teams on a successful Regional meet at home on beautiful Saturday morning for cross country! The boys team qualified for the Sectional meet with a 5th place finish! Kyla Babb finished 3rd in the girls race to earn a Regional medal and qualify individually for Sectional! Well done Sentinels and good luck this weekend at the Kankakee Sectional!
