General

Last night, the Westmont Scholastic Bowl team hosted Chicago Christian in the team's second meet of the year. The Sentinels started off flashing their patented team work, stealing a few bonuses from CC, and then stormed through the rest of the first half, leading 220-75, and ultimately won 375-190. In game #2, the Sentinels never really trailed, and cruised to a 280-215 victory. The team was led by Luke Kaestner with 11 tossups, Justas with 5, Zoe Abington with 4, and freshman Keshav Viswanath had his first Varsity tossup. Cooper Rathburn and Riyah Varghese had MANY bonuses to help lead the team in both wins. The team is now 2-2.

Any Sentinel student that is interested in traveling to Japan over Spring Break 2025 with Geography Club should talk to Mr. Landreth or Mr. Dunne for more information. Interested travelers can also check the Geography Club Google Classroom for additional information.

Westmont's Got Talent! The Talent Show committee is accepting applications for performers! The show will be on Friday, December 15th at 7:00pm in the auditorium. Performers can compete for fun prizes including gift cards and audience members can vote on their favorite acts throughout the show. Teachers and students are invited to perform and compete! To apply, look for a talent show flyer hanging around the school and scan the QR code to fill out the short application form!
