HEY SENTINELS: TONIGHT is our Winter Sports Senior Night in our boy's basketball home game against Lisle! Let's pack those stands! Come out to recognize and honor all of our seniors and support the boys as they take on Lisle. Freshmen play at 4:30, sophomores at 6:00, and varsity at 7:30. Don't miss it!
Seniors: Please head to the senior classroom to vote for the February Senior of the Month by Wednesday, 2/7 at 3 pm!
From Thursday, 2/8, through Monday, 2/12, please join NHS members Becky, Evelyn, and Kaila during lunch to create Valentine's for Senior Citizens. A table will be set up during both lunch periods, with all materials to create colorful and thoughtful cards. Please help our local senior citizens feel loved by participating in our fun NHS service project.

If you are interested in auditioning for the Honors Madrigal Choir, please schedule your audition with Mr. Urlaub as soon as you can.
Athletics
The girls' basketball team hosted Class 3A Lemont for their final home game of the 2023-2024 regular season last night. In a great back-and-forth game, the Sentinels led by five points at the half. Lemont responded with a run to go up by eight points with two minutes to go in the fourth quarter. The Sentinels staged a comeback, and down by two points with time running out, the Sentinels were fouled at the buzzer and Payeton Pickens hit all three of her free throws to seal the 51-50 comeback win! Eva Papish led all scorers with 23 points and Payeton added another 17. Every player contributed to a huge TEAM win - Congratulations, Sentinels!
