General
Acting Out! will meet TODAY right after school until 3:45 pm in the auditorium. Our own Ana Novak will be conducting a stage makeup tutorial and we will share some exciting announcements! See Mrs. Mahmoud if you cannot attend.
There will be a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, March 12th during the last 20 minutes of 7th period in the Band room for all students attending the Fine Arts Disney Tour Trip. We will complete the final preparations required to attend the trip. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Beiderman, Mrs. Jacobs, or Mr. Urlaub.
Juniors: if you feel you need more prep for the SAT, feel free to stop in for English and math classes which are held on Tues and Thurs after school. Tuesday classes are in Mrs. Templeton's room and Thursday classes are in Mrs. Marose's room.
SENIORS! It is time to start planning for the end of the year. Senior Breakfast tickets are on sale for $35 until March 22. We need to sell 55 tickets by then or the event will not take place and refunds will be issued. Look for information in your senior English classes and see Mrs. Mahmoud to purchase a ticket.
Yearbook is looking for 2 students from each class to feature in the 2024 yearbook. Do you have a story to tell about an accomplishment in our out-of-school? Do you participate in an activity your classmates aren't aware of? If so, please complete the Yearbook Features Form in your English Google Classrooms by 3 pm on Friday. Questions? See Mrs. Mahmoud.
Clubs
NHS is sponsoring a basketball tournament on Friday, March 15th. Teams of up to 6 will compete with each other for a coveted prize. To sign up, scan the QR code on the posters hung throughout the school.
Don't play? Come out and attend the event. This is a fundraiser.
Athletics
Congratulations to the boys track and field team on an outstanding performance against tough 3A competition on Friday night! Top scorers for the Sentinels were:
Paul Lalonde - 5th place, 1600m run
Quentin Jarlson - 4th place, 400 dash
Billy McGhie - 3rd place, high jump
4x160 relay of Malachi Boatright, Jude Paul, Joe Kone and Abe Johnson - 3rd place
4x400 relay of Quentin Jarlson, Kaleb Sica, Michael Aho, and Dylan DeSagun - 3rd place
Joe Kone - 2nd place, long jump
Paul Lalonde - 2nd place, 3200m run
Abe Johnson - Meet Champion in Long Jump and Triple Jump

The annual District 201 faculty basketball game will be played on Tuesday, March 12 starting at 7:00 pm. Come out and support your teachers and coaches as they play in a charity basketball game that helps raise money for several organizations. There is no entry fee however small donations are encouraged.
