General

SENIORS! It is time to start planning for the end of the year. Senior Breakfast tickets are on sale for $35 until March 22. We need to sell 55 tickets by then or the event will not take place and refunds will be issued. Look for information in your senior English classes and see Mrs. Mahmoud to purchase a ticket.

Attention All JUNIORS!

On Wednesday, March 20th you will be demonstrating your Science skills while taking the Illinois Science Assessment standardized test.  PLEASE bring your Chromebook fully charged on Wednesday, March 20th.  Room assignments will be posted on the Junior testing board in the Commons, so please check to see what room you should report to on Wednesday.  Testing starts promptly at 8am, so please be on time to school with your Chromebook fully charged.  Thank you for trying your best!  You can do it!  

Clubs

Hey Sentinels: How would you like to spend Spring Break 2025 traveling in JAPAN with Geography Club? That's right - just over a year from now, you could be visiting Tokyo, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Osaka and more in this fascinating country! There is still plenty of time to sign up -- see Mr. Landreth or Mr. Dunne for more details on this trip and information on how to sign up!

Calling all Spanish Club and French Club members to a day of friendly competition!   Join us this Thursday, March 21st for a morning of games!  Bring a friend -and your friendly competitive spirit to game day this Thursday morning in room 123.

Attention Spring Senior Athletes: Your senior cutout order forms are due to Coach Dunne by this Friday, March 22. See Coach Dunne if you need a new order form.

 

Congratulations to the Sentinel Track and Field teams on an outstanding meet at the Reed-Custer Comet Classic on Saturday!

The girls team finished in sixth place! Top finishers for the Sentinels were:

3rd place in the 4x400 relay - Kyla Babb, Wiktoria Dubiel, Daylah Belmonte, and Annikah Engstrom

2nd place in the 800 run - Kyla Babb

Meet Champion in the 1600 - Kyla Babb

The boys team finished in fourth place! Top finishers for the Sentinels were:

3rd place in the high jump - Billy McGhie

Meet Champion in the long jump and triple jump - Abraham Johnson

 

Westmont Varsity Baseball won 20-1 over (Disney II) Westmont improves to 2-2 on the season. Noah Grimm hit the first cycle in school history!!! 6 RBI as well. Nathaniel Ollier CG 7 K’s. Lucas Hicks and Nikolai Baldwin also Homered for the Sentinels!!! Rocco Damato added 4 Runs and 3 RBI
