Dear Westmont High School Community,

One of my greatest priorities as principal is to ensure that every student who walks through our doors feels welcomed, supported, and empowered. Before pursuing an administrative opportunity at Westmont High School, I was a social studies teacher and basketball coach; these experiences shaped my belief in relationships, teamwork, and the power of a strong school culture. I later earned my doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I deepened my passion for educational leadership and student-centered learning.

At Westmont High School, we are proud to cultivate a collaborative and supportive learning environment that personalizes the experience for each student. Our culture is built on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to helping every learner reach their full potential. This culture shines through in our 5Essentials Survey results and is evident in our students’ exceptional academic achievements.

We are honored to be recognized as having the best AP Program in Illinois, with ACT proficiency scores that rank among the strongest in the state. These accomplishments are not accidents; they are the direct result of the hard work, dedication, and partnership of our students, staff, and families.
