Congratulations to Suryakumari Sista and Surya Venkataraman for being named to Sean Casten's Summer 2023 STEM Scholar Program!
Congressman Sean Casten’s summer 2023 stem scholar program participants were selected after an application process. Students joined the congressman on visits to STEM related businesses and facilities around the Illinois 6th Congressional District. The students got a chance to witness STEM careers firsthand, discuss educational pathways ahead, and interact with the Congressman about STEM issues. By being part of the program, students demonstrated commitment to learning and the program itself as it was a competitive year.
